About the Event
Join me for a 3 hour hands-on responsible foraging course.
We begin with a guided walk across a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), learning how to move through sensitive habitats with respect and awareness while observing the rich ecology around us. Along the way, you’ll discover how to identify key wild plants and fungi, understand their roles in the ecosystem.
Our journey leads us to Westhill, a beautiful and productive foraging land where the practical element of the course comes alive. Here, you’ll gain hands-on experience identifying, harvesting, and handling a variety of seasonal wild foods, alongside guidance on traditional and modern uses.
Perfect for beginners and curious nature lovers alike, this immersive course will leave you with a deeper connection to the landscape and the confidence to forage responsibly.
